How do I apply?


Online Account If you wish to open your guaranteed equity performer bond as an online account, simply click on the apply button at the bottom of this page and then complete the secure online application form
Step 1 Carefully read the terms and conditions
Step 2 Decide if you would like to invest in the Direct Investment Bond or mini cash ISA option, or both*.
Step 3 Complete and sign the Application/Customer Acceptance Form.
Step 4 Return your completed Application/Customer Acceptance Form(s), either to your local branch or to the freepost address below:

Alternatively, you can call us on 0845 606 5522 and complete the application form over the phone with one of our customer advisors, or, we can call you back. Our Call Centre is open 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

*Any Direct Investment Bond application should be made using the enclosed Application Form. If you are taking the mini cash ISA option then please complete the enclosed Customer Acceptance Form. This should be completed to confirm your personal details and agree to this Account’s Terms & Conditions.

Any application should be supplied along with the following:

  • A personal cheque for the initial investment made payable to Newcastle Building Society Re: Your Name, Account/Application number (if known), e.g. Newcastle Building Society Re: Mr A Smith, Account/Application number 1234567.

Please remember to draw a line through any unused space on the cheque.

  • Proof of identity and residency (see Application Form for further details).

Once your Account has been opened, we will write to you to confirm your Account Number and the amount invested.
